~When I think back to when I was planning our wedding, I remember feeling incredibly overwhelmed about everything. Finding vendors, finding a venue, booking the venue with an available date in the month we wanted, finding a dress, creating a guest list and getting addresses...it felt like there were a million things to do and not enough hours in the day to get it done. At the time, I was working and going to school, so after a while it started to feel like I was forgetting things.
At that point, we decided that we needed help; Someone who could take all that we had done and take over from there. Once we did that, I felt like I could breathe again. I was able to actually start enjoying the process of planning the wedding. This day I had been dreaming of since I was a little girl was coming together and the stress of the organizing and managing the day was left to someone else.
On the day of our wedding, my mother and I got to sit and sip mimosa's with my sister and bridesmaids and take everything in. No one was coming in asking where something was supposed to go, or how something was supposed to be decorated because the wedding planner was running the show.
Do you want to be running around chasing after vendors and decorating your space on your wedding day? Do you want to be stressed? Do you want to have to ask a friend or family member to run the day FOR you instead of getting to enjoy your day WITH you? Then go ahead and do yourself a favor:
